Samuel Hardy

Samuel advises clients on all types of financial arrangements, with a particular focus on bank lending as well as real estate and acquisition financing. Samuel also provides advice on questions related to general corporate, contract, and commercial law.

Kristian Suominen

Kristian advises domestic and international clients on all types of financial arrangements, with a particular focus on bank lending and real estate and acquisition financing.

He also provides advice on questions related to general corporate, contract, and commercial law.

Matias Temonen

Matias specialises in dispute resolution with a particular focus on international commercial and investment arbitration. He has experience in high-stakes construction and energy arbitrations, including in the nuclear sector, governed by a variety of procedural and substantive laws under the FAI, ICC, LCIA, SCC, Swiss, and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. Matias also advises clients on the enforcement of arbitral awards.

Silja Piironen

Silja advises clients in our Real Assets Practice, which is a multi-disciplinary group of experienced lawyers whose expertise cuts across energy, infrastructure, real estate, construction, environment, and projects.

Silja specialises in complex industrial projects in all phases of negotiation and execution. She works on projects across industries ranging from renewable energy, green hydrogen, nuclear, and bioproducts to production plants. Her expertise includes advising on project contracts and commodity supply and off-take agreements, such as corporate PPAs.

Silja is currently on a parental leave.

Henri Ruotsalainen

Henri has more than a decade of experience in private equity and venture capital transactions, particularly in fund formation. He advises both GPs and LPs in fund formation and fund investments, secondary transactions, and other fund-related transactions. Henri’s experience covers funds with various investment strategies, including private equity, venture capital, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate, as well as funds of funds and feeder fund structures. Henri also has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the regulatory aspects of the private fund and investment management industry.

In addition to fund-related matters, Henri regularly advises clients on venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate and contract law matters. He is also active in Hannes Snellman’s ESG Group.

Nora Cabell

Nora works as a legal assistant in our M&A Group, specifically in the Private M&A Team. Nora supports the team in client work and in administrative work, such as invoicing.

Sanna Honkinen

Sanna co-heads our firm’s Employment Practice. She is an experienced employment law practitioner with core expertise in planning and implementing complex redundancy procedures and reorganisations as well as change negotiations. She provides employment law advice in all types of M&A transactions and has led many global restructuring and reorganisation projects successfully.

She regularly advises clients in employment and executive-level agreements, incentive and retention arrangements, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, outsourcings, and terminations of employment. She is also experienced in questions concerning different employee participation arrangements, as well as employee involvement in European Companies.

Pinja Ylisuutari

Pinja works as a legal assistant in our Tax Team, providing support to lawyers with assignment work, such as drafting and reviewing documents, client due diligence, and document management. She also handles various administrative tasks, including matter intake processes, invoicing, meeting coordination, and communication with clients and stakeholders in both Finnish and English.

Mira Karjala

Mira works as a legal assistant in our IP & Tech Team, assisting with a variety of assignments within the intellectual property and technology fields. She provides essential support for attorneys with assignment work, such as reviewing documents, managing and organising case files, and preparing submissions. She also works with trademark processes, including trademark applications and renewals. Additionally, Mira manages a wide range of administrative duties, such as invoicing, calendar management, meeting coordination, and client communication in both Finnish and English.
