Tuomas Koivuniemi

Tuomas advises clients in our Real Assets Practice, which is a multi-disciplinary group of experienced lawyers whose expertise cuts across energy, infrastructure, real estate, construction, environment, and projects.

Tuomas specialises in estate transactions, development projects, and data centre projects. He has been involved in the biggest sale and leaseback arrangements completed in Finland over the past few years and also has extensive experience with different kinds of portfolio and single-asset transactions. In addition, he also advises clients on day-to-day real estate matters.

Roope Sevón

Roope advises domestic and international clients on various forms of corporate transactions, with a particular focus on public M&A and capital markets. He also provides advice on corporate, commercial, securities markets, and contract law. He has gained experience in various forms of corporate transactions and regulatory matters, including public tender offers, secondary share issues, and bond issues, and in other transactions involving listed companies.

Juuso Lumilahti

Juuso advises domestic and international clients on construction and general contract and company law disputes. Juuso has experience in advocating commercial cases before state courts and arbitral tribunals and in mediation proceedings. He also provides advice on questions related to insolvency law and minority share redemption procedures.

Ricardo Gomes

Ricardo practices in the Dispute Resolution Group with a special focus on complex international arbitration proceedings. He currently represents clients in commercial and investment arbitration proceedings before several major arbitral institutions and ad hoc proceedings across a variety of industry sectors, such as energy and infrastructure, engineering and machinery, and construction. Moreover, he also advises clients on contentious questions regarding trade and compliance and especially EU sanctions regimes.

Ricardo also advises clients on enforcement proceedings and is active in Hannes Snellman’s ESG Group.

In addition to his experience as counsel, he has also acted as an arbitrator in an international dispute under the FAI Rules and also as a tribunal secretary. Ricardo regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on dispute resolution, advocacy or career topics.

Vilhelm Schröder

Vilhelm advises domestic and international clients in commercial disputes with a particular focus on intellectual property matters. He has worked as a private practitioner for well over a decade and has litigated before the lower Finnish general courts, appellate courts, administrative courts, the Market Court, the Supreme Court, the Supreme Administrative Court, the Unified Patent Court (Court of First Instance and Court of Appeal), and arbitral tribunals. He has represented clients from a wide range of industries, such as life sciences, telecommunications, IT, food & beverage, sports, paper & pulp, oil & gas, media, gambling, video gaming, insurance, and the financial sector.

Sofia Ropo

Sofia advises clients on domestic and international tax matters. She has a particular focus on transactional tax advisory and frequently assists clients with tax litigation and advance proceedings. Sofia has extensive experience in corporate restructurings and handling a broad range of transactions involving complex tax elements. Additionally, she has experience in general tax advisory and implementation assistance.

Elli-Noora Karttunen

Elli-Noora works as a senior legal assistant in our Tax Team, supporting attorneys with a variety of assignments in the field of taxation. She mainly assists in drafting and reviewing documents, legal research, proofreading, and document management. In addition, Elli-Noora communicates with clients and other stakeholders, such as tax authorities and courts. She also handles a wide range of administrative tasks, including client due diligence, invoicing, and meeting coordination.

Krista Järvimaa

Krista works as a legal assistant in our Employment and Tax Teams. In addition to supporting attorneys with various tasks, Krista manages a wide range of administrative duties, including invoicing.

Oona Eerola

Oona advises domestic and international clients on all aspects of employment law, such as general consultation, employment and manager agreements, terminations of employment, and employment policies. Oona also has experience in employment matters related to transactions.

Oona’s pragmatic approach to employment law matters makes working with her straightforward and easy.

Oona is currently on a parental leave.

Annika Tiitola

Annika works in our Public Procurement and Technology & Data Teams. She advises both private and public sector clients across all stages of public procurement procedures. Her practice focuses on complex tendering competitions, compliance with public procurement legislation, and handling disputes and administrative court proceedings.


Moreover, Annika has significant experience of direct awards and contract amendments. She also supports clients in M&A-related procurement questions and other compliance-related assignments in the field of procurement, healthcare, technology, and data. She frequently writes blogs and conducts training on public procurement.
