Anne works as a chief operating officer. She is responsible for the firm’s administration.

Kai Liimatainen

Kai Liimatainen is the office services manager of Hannes Snellman. In this role, Kai is responsible for overseeing the Office Services Team and ensuring the smooth operation of office services. This includes managing various office-related tasks and ensuring that the office environment is efficient and well-maintained.

Pia Hasselblatt

Pia Hasselblatt works as a senior financial accountant in our Finance & Control Team. In her work, she focuses mainly on accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Elina Aulis

Elina works as a KM specialist in our Compliance & KM Team and leads our team of KM Trainees. Elina coordinates Hannes Snellman’s knowledge management services and is regularly involved in various development projects at the firm. In addition, she actively takes part in the Compliance Team’s work.

Heikki Majamaa

Heikki advises clients on all types of financing transactions, including leveraged acquisitions, corporate lending, real estate and project financing, securitisation, and sustainable finance, and on all types of issues in property law.

Heikki has solid specialist experience on restructuring arrangements and security interests, and he provides advice on a range of issues with a special emphasis on natural resources and infrastructure. He has advised clients on numerous complex investments into industrial and other infrastructure facilities, and he has been involved in several complex security enforcement procedures. In addition, Heikki is an active legal scholar and recognised lecturer. He has published several academic articles and other smaller papers in his field of expertise.

Heidi Haanpää

Heidi advises both corporate and private equity clients on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, distressed M&A, and other corporate arrangements. She also advises clients in foreign direct investment (FDI) screening and corporate governance questions.

Panu Siitonen

Panu heads our Intellectual Property (“IP”) Practice. Panu advises domestic and international clients on commercial contracts, licensing, IP strategy, IP transactions, and all kinds of non-contentious IP matters. He also has substantial experience in life sciences, regulatory, marketing, consumer law, sports, media, entertainment, franchising, and brand management (including trademark portfolio management). Panu also provides advice on IP questions related to digitalisation and AI.  

As to contentious IP matters, Panu is one of the leading IP litigators in Finland. Panu has advocated numerous cases relating to patents and utility models, trademarks and domain names, copyright and databases, trade secrets, geographical indications, and complex IP-intensive contractual issues. Moreover, Panu has advocated several cases relating to marketing and unfair business practices. Panu has represented clients before several Finnish district courts and appellate courts, administrative courts, the Market Court, the Supreme Court, the Supreme Administrative Court, the Unified Patent Court (both Court of First Instance and Court of Appeal), the Court of Justice of the European Union, arbitral tribunals, and in mediation. He has advised and represented clients from a wide range of industries, such as automotive industry, consumer & retail, defence, engineering and machinery, fashion, design & luxury goods, food & beverage, gambling, healthcare & life sciences, insurance, IT, media & entertainment, pulp & paper, sports, technology, telecommunications, and video gaming.

Sonja Siggberg

Sonja advises domestic and international clients on capital markets transactions, public takeovers, and other corporate transactions involving listed companies and corporate governance related matters. She has advised clients in a number of equity and debt capital market transactions, including IPOs, secondary share issues, public tender offers, private placements, share buy-backs, and bond issues along with other strategic corporate transactions, such as mergers, demergers, and cross-border conversions. Sonja is also a trusted advisor in corporate, disclosure, insider, and other corporate governance matters.
