Anniina Järvinen

Anniina advises clients on capital markets transactions, public takeovers, and other corporate transactions involving listed companies and on corporate governance matters. She has extensive experience from complex domestic and cross-border transactions of listed companies in particular.

Anniina has advised clients in numerous equity and debt capital market transactions, including IPOs, rights offerings, private placements, share buy-backs, bond issues, and regulatory matters, and other strategic corporate transactions, such as public tender offers, mergers, and demergers. In public takeovers, she has advised financial sponsors and industrial offerors and the boards and shareholders of acquired corporations. She has participated in drafting Finnish takeover regulation, including the latest Helsinki Takeover Code. Anniina also advises clients on corporate law, disclosure, ESG, and other corporate governance matters.

Anna-Maria Tamminen

Anna-Maria serves as the managing partner of Hannes Snellman. In her practice, she specialises in dispute resolution, with a special focus on complex, international disputes and investigations. She currently represents parties in mediations, national and international arbitrations, administrative and civil litigations, and internal and regulatory investigations. She has also acted for clients before the ECJ and the Finnish and Swedish Supreme Courts. Since 2022, Anna-Maria has been in charge of Hannes Snellman’s sanctions and contentious ESG advice.

Anna-Maria has experience in resolving disputes through negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Her past work includes high-stakes commercial and investment cases requiring the application of general contract and commercial law (including franchise, agency, and shareholder disputes), tort law, international sales, post M&A, competition, and procurement law. She has worked with clients active in many industries, including technology, media & telecom, energy & infrastructure, real estate & construction, engineering & machinery, healthcare & life sciences, mobility, transportation & logistics, financial services & insurance, defence, consumer & retail and environment, natural resources & circular economy, and the public sector.


Anna-Maria has arbitrated cases under the ICC Rules, SCC Rules, FAI Rules, Vienna Rules, LCIA Rules, DIA Rules, UNCITRAL, and PCA Rules. Anna-Maria has additionally advised clients with regard to potential commercial and investment disputes, obtaining funding for disputes, seeking interim relief, and on the recognition, enforcement, and setting aside of arbitral awards in a variety of jurisdictions. Anna-Maria also acts as arbitrator in both international and domestic disputes. She has acted as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator, and chairperson in over 30 international arbitrations under the ICC, SCC, FAI, DIA, and LCIA Rules with a value in dispute up to EUR 60 million. The cases have been subject to Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Cypriot, Swiss, German, English, and New York law.

She regularly publishes articles, presents at conferences, and lectures on dispute resolution topics. She is a member of the Board of the SCC Arbitration Institute and a member of the LCIA Court. In the years 2018–2024, she was a member of the ICC Court of arbitration representing Finland. She is also a past co-chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee’s ESG Subcommittee. Anna-Maria is trained in both common and civil law legal systems and is admitted to practice as an attorney in both Finland and the State of New York. Due to her training and work experience in Finland, Sweden, Austria, United Kingdom, and the United States, Anna-Maria has an in-depth understanding of both common and civil law legal systems.

Antti Nyberg

Antti’s practice focuses on all types of financing transactions with a particular emphasis on bank lending, acquisition financing, derivative instruments, real estate and project financing, securitisation, and structured financing. Antti heads Hannes Snellman’s Finance Practice.

In addition, Antti has strong experience in restructuring assignments, distressed situations, and preparation of security enforcement procedures. Antti has a solid understanding of market practices, and during his career, he has advised both local and global clients in complex and high-profile financing transactions.

Antti Kuha

Antti advises clients on capital markets transactions, public takeovers, and other corporate transactions involving listed companies and on corporate governance matters. He has extensive experience from complex cross-border transactions of public corporations in particular. Antti has advised clients in numerous public tender offers, IPOs, mergers and demergers, rights offerings, private placements, and share buy-backs, including some of the largest transactions in the Finnish market. Antti also advises clients regularly on corporate law, disclosure, insider regulation, and other corporate governance matters. He lectures frequently on securities regulation and cross-border transactions at the University of Helsinki.

Outi Talola

Outi Talola is a lawyer specialising in legal language. She is the manager of the Translation Service and a member of the Communications Team. Outi’s expertise covers issues relating to languages, translation, and communication.

Sini Asikainen

Jari Sairanen

Jari Sairanen works as the head of finance & control at Hannes Snellman. In his role, he has the overall responsibility for the firm’s financial operations, such as accounting, cash management, ERP management, and internal/external reporting.

Tarja Puustelli
