Outi Jousi

Outi Jousi heads Hannes Snellman’s Public Procurement Practice in Helsinki and works within our Technology & Data and Public Procurement Teams.

Outi specialises in complex questions relating to public procurement and technology. She provides practical advice to parties in projects both in the public and private sectors.

Her focus areas include market entry, tendering competitions, regulation compliance, procurement related disputes and negotiations, and M&A-related procurement questions. Moreover, Outi also assists clients in matters relating to administrative proceedings and healthcare-related questions and is active in Hannes Snellman’s ESG Group. 

Outi is has been the president of the Finnish Public Procurement Association since 2020.

Ella Mäkijärvi

Ella advises clients on business disputes, including domestic and international arbitration, commercial litigation before state courts, settlement negotiations, and mediation. Ella has gained experience in complex and high-stakes international arbitration and litigation proceedings. She has acted as counsel in arbitrations administered under major institutional rules (including FAI, SCC, and ICC) and being subject to the laws of various jurisdictions. In addition, Ella has experience of precautionary measures and court-assisted mediation. Due to her training on the bench at the District Court of Helsinki and acting as counsel in complex litigation proceedings in several instances of national courts, she has an in-depth understanding of Finnish court proceedings.

Ella’s experience covers many industry sectors, such as energy, construction, engineering, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, technology, and media. Ella is also a member of the Board of the Young Arbitration Club Finland.

Maria Landtman

Maria heads our Real Assets Practice, which is a multi-disciplinary group of experienced lawyers whose expertise cuts across energy, infrastructure, real estate, construction, environment, and projects.

Maria specialises in complex projects particularly within the energy, infrastructure, and commodities sectors, advising a wide range of actors in relation to the suite of project contracts including construction (on e.g. EPC, EPCM or disaggregated basis), equipment supply and operation and maintenance agreements, co-operation, development and other service agreements, grid agreements, and commodity supply and offtake agreements, including corporate PPAs. Maria has extensive experience of project-financed transactions.

Stefan Stellato

Stefan advises clients on a broad range of domestic and international tax matters. His practice focuses on private wealth matters, such as assisting private clients and family investment companies with generation shifts, investment structures, and litigation. In addition, Stefan frequently assists clients in private equity and other transactions and tax and social security treatment of incentives. Stefan also has experience in the taxation of charitable organisations and crypto assets.

Matias Moberg

Matias’s practice focuses on advising both domestic and international clients on all types of financing transactions, as well as regulatory and compliance matters across the financial services sector.

Matias has extensive experience in representing both lenders and borrowers and different types of corporate clients, including financial institutions, private equity investors, and both public and private companies, in complex financing arrangements. His expertise covers bank lending, M&A and real estate acquisition financing, public and private debt offerings, structured finance, and restructuring and refinancing processes.

Harri Vehviläinen

Harri advises domestic and international clients in the field of taxation, particularly corporate and international taxation and transfer taxation. He has experience in tax structuring, including related advance ruling proceedings and other implementation assistance, and in assessing tax considerations in various private and public M&A transactions, with a special focus on real estate, private equity, infrastructure, renewable energy, and investment fund transactions. Harri also advises clients on tax disputes.

Anni Ollus

Anni works as a senior legal assistant in our M&A Group, specifically in the Public M&A Team. She supports the team in client and administrative work.

Laura Tavakka

Laura works as a talent development coordinator in our HR team. In her work, she focuses mainly on learning and development.

Sonia Elg

Sonia works as a senior legal assistant in our IP & Tech groupShe previously worked as a legal assistant in our Dispute Resolution group.

Sonia is currently on parental leave.

Tuuli Pikkarainen

Tuuli advises domestic and international clients in the field of mergers and acquisitions. In addition, she provides advice on general commercial, corporate, and contract law.

During her time at Hannes Snellman, Tuuli has gained versatile experience advising clients in different types of assignments, including, among others, several significant real estate transactions and development projects, dispute resolution, and claims management.
