Joakim Frände 22.9.2020 Joakim specialises in domestic and international taxation of individuals. He has several years of experience in the planning and implementation of key person remuneration such as bonus programmes, share awards, options, restricted stocks (RS), restricted stock units (RSU), share appreciation rights (SAR), FCPEs, and management incentive programmes. Joakim regularly advises clients especially on matters relating to relocation and cross-border taxation of individuals and employer obligations and social security contributions in different reward schemes and assignment setups. Furthermore, Joakim assists clients during active tax audits. Joakim also represents private individuals, family offices, and family-owned companies in all aspects of tax litigation, including advance rulings for both tax and social security purposes, corrections claims, and disputes before administrative courts and the Supreme Administrative Court. Janika Manner 2.9.2020 Janika works as a Senior Legal Assistant in our M&A group, specifically in the Private Equity team. Janika supports the team in demanding client related work and administrative tasks, such as risk assessments, client engagement management, document management, travel and meeting arrangements and invoicing.
Ingrid Remmelgas 27.8.2020 Ingrid’s vast experience covers, among other things, large restructurings and co-operation proceedings, drafting of employment and director agreements, and assisting with terminations of employment. Ingrid helps clients to implement their HR and employee strategies and works closely with clients relating to legal risk assessment of various employment law related matters. She regularly advises clients in matters related to executive changes, consultancy arrangements, application of Finnish collective bargaining agreements, and employee incentive programmes. Ingrid has particularly strong expertise in transactional work, and she advises clients in all employment matters in connection with mergers and acquisitions, including business transfers and post-closing matters.

Aki Salmela 2.7.2020 Aki specialises in advising clients on a wide spectrum of corporate transactions for both listed and non-listed companies, with a particular focus on public M&A and capital markets. His knowledge and expertise extend to corporate, commercial, securities markets, and contract law. He has experience in complex, large-scale public M&A transactions, including public takeovers, and corporate advisory.
Viktor Saavola 22.6.2020 Viktor advises domestic and international clients in their business disputes and regulatory investigations, representing clients in commercial disputes in both national courts and arbitral tribunals, while also providing general conflict management advice. Viktor has particular experience of project delivery and construction related disputes and shareholder disputes. In addition to representing clients in proceedings, Viktor has acted as an administrative secretary in both ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings.
