Hannes Snellman advised Usva Energia Oy in the sale of a 100 MW / 400 MWh ready-to-build energy storage facility project located in Pyhäjoki to Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd. Once operational, the facility is planned to connect to Elenia’s 110 kV distribution grid, providing flexibility and balancing capacity to the power system while supporting the integration of renewable energy.

Leppäkoski Group (Seller), Loimua (Buyer)
Hannes Snellman advised Leppäkoski Group in the structured sales process of Leppäkosken Lämpö Oy to Loimua.
Leppäkosken Lämpö Oy operates district heating and natural gas distribution businesses, supplying district heating in Nokia, Hämeenkyrö, Ikaalinen, Parkano, Ylöjärvi and Ulvila, with district heating sales of approximately 250 gigawatt hours in 2025. Loimua, which is owned by Abrdn plc, CVC DIF and LPPI Infrastructure Investments LP, will expand its operations through the transaction, increasing its number of district heating end users to over 100,000.
The completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals, and the parties expect the transaction to be completed by the end of 2026.

CAP-Group Oy, SafeSteer I Oy, SafeSteer II Oy and Aktia Bank plc
Hannes Snellman advised CAP-Group Oy and SafeSteer I Oy as guarantors and SafeSteer II Oy as borrower in connection with a senior facilities agreement with Aktia Bank plc as lender. The facilities comprise two term loan facilities for refinancing the SafeSteer group’s existing indebtedness, an acquisition term loan facility for financing future acquisitions and a revolving credit facility for general corporate purposes.
