YIT and Sirius Capital Partners to Establish a Joint Venture for Finnish Residential Investments

Hannes Snellman acted as counsel to YIT in the establishment of a joint venture vehicle with a newly-established affiliate of Sirius Capital Partners investing in build-to-rent residential assets in Finland. In the same connection, YIT agreed to sell 18 build-to-rent residential projects to the joint venture vehicle for a purchase price of EUR 164 million. The portfolio comprises 754 rental apartments, and the majority of the assets are located in the Greater Helsinki region. YIT’s share of the joint venture will be 20%.
