Hannes Snellman advised Katri Antell in the divestment of its restaurant business in Finland to Sodexo. In the transaction, the well-regarded Antell brand, along with its restaurants and their employees, transfers to Sodexo’s ownership.

Founded in 1880, Antell is a Finnish family-owned company headquartered in Oulu. The Antell restaurant business is operated nationwide with a strong presence in key cities such as Oulu, Turku, Kuopio, Tampere and the Helsinki metropolitan area. For Sodexo, the acquisition supports strategic objectives by strengthening Sodexo’s market position in Finland, expanding its footprint and enabling further value creation for clients and consumers.

Hannes Snellman’s advisory team was led by Thomas Landell, Eerika Halme Lampio and Mikko Huimala. The team also comprised Julia Tabell (M&A), Minna Siekkinen and Niko Haarahiltunen (Competition & Regulatory), Esa Airola (Employment), Jasmin Metwally (IP & Technology), Harri Vehviläinen (Tax) and Legal Assistants Emilia Reis and Veera Aro.
