Hannes Snellman Supports Nadija Foundation Through Pro Bono Partnership

Hannes Snellman has been working with the Nadija Foundation on a pro bono basis since its establishment in 2023.

The Foundation for Children’s Hospital and Research Institute Nadija sr (Nadija Foundation) is a unique Nordic-Ukrainian initiative responding to the urgent need for mental and physical rehabilitation of war-affected children in Ukraine.

We provide ongoing legal and governance support to the Nadija Foundation. Our contribution helps ensure that the foundation’s operations are legally sound, transparent, and aligned with Nordic and international standards — strengthening its ability to operate and grow as a cross-border organisation.

“Building an international humanitarian initiative requires strong governance and trusted legal partners. Hannes Snellman has supported Nadija Foundation across everything from the establishment of the foundation, policy preparation and legal structuring to the many day-to-day matters that come with scaling a complex cross-border organisation”, says Roland Ulfstedt, Chief Financial Officer of the Nadija Foundation.

“At Hannes Snellman, pro bono work is a natural part of how we apply our expertise where it matters most. Supporting the Nadija Foundation from its establishment onwards has allowed us to help build a strong and sustainable basis for its activities. It is a privilege to support an initiative that delivers concrete impact to children in need”, says Sonja Siggberg, Partner, who leads Hannes Snellman’s work with the Nadija Foundation.

Pro bono work is an important part of our contribution to society and has been strongly rooted in our culture and operations ever since Hannes Snellman was founded in 1909.
