Home News & ViewsHannes Snellman Partners with High-Up! to Support Finland’s Future 21/10/2026 | News Hannes Snellman Partners with High-Up! to Support Finland’s Future Hannes Snellman is proud to partner with High-Up!, an initiative that aims to strengthen young people’s sense of agency and hope for the future, regardless of their background or circumstances. On 19–20 November, High-Up! will gather 500 upper secondary and vocational students from across Finland to Aalto University. Working alongside entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, and other professionals within the Finnish startup scene, the students will tackle real-world challenges and come up with their own ideas and solutions. For Hannes Snellman, the partnership is closely connected to our commitment to promoting equal opportunities and supporting the next generation. Today’s students are tomorrow’s decision-makers, and strengthening their sense of agency and hope for the future is also an investment in Finland’s long-term future. “Young people need opportunities to experiment, learn, build networks, and see that their ideas matter. Supporting High-Up! is one concrete way for us to contribute to this. By strengthening young people’s sense of agency and hope for the future, we are also supporting the next generation of professionals, entrepreneurs, leaders, and decision-makers who will shape Finland’s future”, says Mervi Barth from Hannes Snellman’s Corporate Citizenship Team. High-Up! is an official Slush side event organised together with Aalto Founder School, Slush, Finnish Startup Community, FR8, and youth startup community STUHI. The patron of the event is Suzanne Innes-Stubb. Read more about High-Up! here.
