Stefan Stellato Moderating Debate on Inheritance Tax

Managing Associate Stefan Stellato from Hannes Snellman’s Tax Team will be moderating and leading the discussion at the upcoming spring meeting of the Law Society of Finland (Juridiska Föreningen i Finland r.f.) and Ekonomiska Samfundet i Finland r.f. The panellists include Jarkko Harju, Professor of Economics at the University of Tampere, and Penna Urrila, Chief Economist at the Confederation of Finnish Industries. The meeting will be organised in Helsinki on Tuesday 20 May as a debate-style discussion addressing the theme “Could Finland promote growth by abolishing inheritance tax?”

Stefan’s practice focuses on private wealth matters, such as assisting private clients and family investment companies with generation shifts, investment structures, and litigation. In addition, Stefan frequently assists clients in private equity and other transactions and tax and social security treatment of incentives. Stefan is a board member of the Law Society of Finland.
