Anna-Maria Tamminen Starts as Hannes Snellman’s Managing Partner

As previously announced, Anna-Maria Tamminen was elected as Hannes Snellman’s new managing partner, and she will start in her new role on 7 April. Riikka Rannikko, who has been the managing partner since 2019, will return to full-time client work, continuing to focus on M&A and corporate advisory.

Anna-Maria Tamminen joined Hannes Snellman in 2011, became a partner in 2018 and chair of the Board in 2024. She specialises in dispute resolution and investigations, with a focus on complex, international disputes. She currently represents parties in mediations, national and international arbitrations, investigations, and administrative and civil litigations. She also heads the firm’s sanctions practice. During her term as managing partner, Anna-Maria will continue her normal client practice in line with Hannes Snellman’s principle of all partners actively engaging in client work.
