Hannes Snellman advised OP Corporate Bank plc as lender in connection with the financing of a significant part of Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company’s Finnish real estate portfolio. The financing follows the Finnish pension reform that entered into force on 1 July 2026, under which pension insurance companies have greater flexibility to utilise debt financing within their real estate portfolios – making this transaction one of the first of its kind under the new legislative framework.

Hannes Snellman’s team was led by Antti Nyberg and comprised Jouko Markkanen, Rosa Narvio, Emma Ahonen, Anna Huttunen, Sanna Kanth, and Heikki Majamaa.
