Johan Aalto and Anna Sahrakorpi’s Article Receives Law Journal Defensor Legis’ Authors’ Award

Senior Partner Johan Aalto and Associate Anna Sahrakorpi have received Law Journal Defensor Legis’ Authors’ Award 2018 for their article “Distribution of Board Materials to External Advisors, from the Perspective of Insider Regulation” (in Finnish “Hallitusmateriaalin jakaminen avustajalle sisäpiirisääntelyn näkökulmasta”). The article was originally published in the Finnish Bar Association's Defensor Legis Journal No. 2, 2018.

Johan Aalto specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and capital markets, with an emphasis on public takeovers. He also focuses on corporate governance issues and acts as the chairman of general meetings of several listed companies in Finland. Anna Sahrakorpi advises clients in the fields of capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and also general corporate, commercial, and contract law. Anna also specialises in matters related to general securities markets regulation.

Defensor Legis is a law journal published by the Finnish Bar Association since 1920, making it the oldest publication within the Nordic legal profession.
