Hannes Snellman Finnish Counsel to Telia Company in Its Divestment of Telia Carrier to Polhem Infra

Hannes Snellman acted as Finnish counsel to Telia Company in the sale of Telia Carrier, an international carrier business, to Polhem Infra for a value of SEK 9,450 million on a cash and debt free basis. Telia Carrier’s content, services, and operator customers account for 65 per cent of the global Internet routes, and its network spans across Europe, North America, and Asia, connecting customers in more than 120 countries. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals relating to, for instance, merger control and foreign direct investment screening, inter alia, in the EU and the US.
