Anna-Maria Tamminen Becomes a Hannes Snellman Partner on 1 January 2018

Helsinki and Stockholm based dispute resolution expert Anna-Maria Tamminen to become a partner at Hannes Snellman on 1 January 2018.

Anna-Maria Tamminen’s practice focuses on international commercial and investment arbitrations, mediation and complex litigation. She represents both international and Nordic clients in arbitrations seated in the Nordic countries under the ICC, SCC, FAI and DIA Rules. Anna-Maria has also been an integral part of Hannes Snellman’s team in precedent-setting follow-on damages litigations before the Finnish courts. Over the past years, Anna-Maria has also developed a practice of acting as an arbitrator in international arbitrations, and she is actively involved in numerous international arbitral organisations.

Anna-Maria began her career in the International Arbitration Group of WilmerHale in London before joining Hannes Snellman in 2011.  She is qualified to practise as an attorney both in Finland and the State of New York and is ranked as one of the leading practitioners in her field by international ranking publications such as Who’s Who Legal Arbitration and Chambers Europe.
