1 February 2021

Lawyer Caroline Sundberg, Itai Coleman, and Hugo Hartzell have written a report entitled “EU Data Strategy and Data Sharing Report“. The report has been produced on behalf of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, and it contributes to the availability of knowledge about what is needed to make it easier for the business community to make better use of data in the single market.

The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) is Sweden’s largest and most influential business federation representing 50 member organisations and 55,000 member companies with some 1,5 million employees. It was founded in 2001 through the merger between the Swedish Employers’ Confederation (SAF, founded in 1902) and the Federation of Swedish Industry (SI, founded in 1910).

The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise has commissioned this report from data protection experts at Hannes Snellman Advokatbyrå AB to outline the conditions and incentives that exist for data sharing and what more needs to be done to facilitate companies´ data management.
