Expert Report Prepared by Mika Pohjonen for the Ministry of the Environment Concerning the Corporatisation of the Municipal Waste Management Infrastructure

Our Specialist Partner Mika Pohjonen has prepared an expert report for the Ministry of the Environment concerning the different alternatives for implementing the unbundling of the municipal waste management infrastructure and the corporatisation of its market-based operation, as well as the legislative framework conditions related thereto. When it comes to waste incineration and bioprocessing, the report examines the organisation of the sale of the possible overcapacity of the municipal waste management operators to private operators.
