Maria Wasastjerna Speaking at Book Launch Event "Yritysvastuu & oikeus"

Partner Maria Wasastjerna from our Competition Practice has, together with Associate Meri Dahlqvist and Research Fellow and Professor of Practice Toni Malminen, written a chapter for the book "Yritysvastuu & oikeus" (in English: Corporate Responsibility & Justice). The book, edited by Anne Vanhala and Michael Ristaniemi and co-authored by various experts from different fields, explores the legal norms of corporate responsibility and sustainability. The book addresses topics such as corporate responsibility and circular economy, financial regulation, competition law, and lawyers’ role in advancing sustainability.

The book will be launched today, 3 June 2022, in a hybrid event, organised by the Finnish Chamber of Commerce. Alongside other experts and co-authors of the book, Maria will be speaking about the growing role of sustainability in competition law and policy at the launch event.
