Maria Wasastjerna as Speaker at the Law Society of Finland's Annual Meeting

Partner, LL.D. Maria Wasastjerna, who co-heads our Competition Practice in Helsinki, will be speaking at the Law Society of Finland's annual meeting on 10 December 2020. Maria will be presenting on the timely topic of the meaning of consumer welfare in digital competition and the potential need for its rethinking. The topic relates to her recent book "Competition, Data and Privacy in the Digital Economy" published by Wolters Kluwer.
The Law Society of Finland (Juridiska Föreningen i Finland r.f. in Swedish and Suomen Lainopillinen Yhdistys ry. in Finnish) is the oldest law association in Finland. The association organises regular discussion meetings, publishes and supports legal literature in Swedish, and promotes the knowledge of jurisprudence in various ways. The Law Society of Finland is bilingual and meetings are held in both Finnish and Swedish.
