Johan Holmquist as a Speaker at Blendow Lexnova’s Webinar

On Thursday 11 March 2021, Senior Associate Johan Holmquist, our expert in competition & procurement matters, will be speaking at “Digital Markets Act & konkurrensprocesserna mot big tech”, a webinar hosted by Blendow Lexnova. During the seminar, Johan will be talking about the ways in which companies and organisations get a “fair” chance as competitors against large platforms and as users of these platforms. He will be describing the ongoing competition proceedings in the US and EU against Google, Apple, Facebook, and Amazon. Johan will also be discussing the EU Commission’s proposal for a new ex ante regulatory framework for large online platforms acting as gatekeepers (Digital Markets Act), according to which the current competition rules are insufficient to deal with the lack of competition in the digital markets.
