IBA 2019 – Observations from Seoul

Once again, we had the privilege of meeting with prominent law firms from around the globe to discuss topical issues at the IBA Annual Conference in Seoul.

In addition to learning about important updates from different law firms and the legal market in general, we focused on three main areas in our discussions:

• What are your firm’s three key growth/emphasis areas?
• How have you addressed the disruption/competition coming from alternative legal service providers in your market(s)?
• What has been the most positive/surprising initiative by an employee during the past year and how do you encourage such initiatives?
