Heikki Vesikansa and Jenni Parviainen as Speakers at Alma Talent's Tax Crime Seminar

Partner Heikki Vesikansa and Managing Associate Jenni Parviainen from our Tax Team will be speaking at Alma Talent's Tax Crime seminar on Friday 20 November 2020. As chairman of the seminar, Heikki will be leading and moderating the discussion on the various topics of the day, including tax investigations and recent developments on topical matters, such as inherited foreign accounts and foundations being subject to tax crime investigations. In her lecture, Jenni will be discussing how a taxpayer can prepare for a tax audit and tax appeal.

Heikki heads Hannes Snellman’s Tax practice in Helsinki, and he advises clients on transaction tax structuring and tax planning as well as tax litigation engagements. He frequently acts as a trusted advisor particularly in cases involving complex international and cross-border tax elements.

Jenni advises clients in the field of taxation, especially on domestic and international corporate taxation, value added taxation, and transfer taxation. Jenni works with a wide range of clients, and she has substantial experience in tax disputes and advance ruling proceedings as well as tax advisory related to e.g. real estate transactions, M&A, and capital markets.
