When did your career at Hannes Snellman start?

Officially, my employment with Hannes Snellman began in May 2017, but in practice, I have been working at the office for seven years. The first few years, I worked through a rental company, and for the past two years, I have officially been in the company’s service. Because I have been warmly welcomed into the office since my first day, I feel like I have been part of the Hannes Snellman staff for over seven years.

Can you describe your day-to-day work?

The so-called normal workday is difficult to determine in my work, because what happens during a workday depends on the number and type of negotiations taking place and on how much assistants and lawyers have other tasks for me to handle. In essence, however, my work is customer service, whether I am working with a Hannes Snellman employee or an external customer. Business trip reservations for the staff in Helsinki also occupy me every day.

How would you describe your team?

On a daily basis, I work closely with our courier and catering teams and with the wonderful trainees who manage the reception in the evenings. We all work on the same floor and take care of the comfort of our visitors at different stages of their visits. I feel like we are all in this together, and I could not hope for a better team. Jobs are handled in an efficient matter. Even on busy days, humour is not forgotten and you can always count on your colleagues for help if needed.

What do you enjoy best in your work and what could be improved?

The best thing about working at Hannes Snellman is definitely my awesome colleagues. When it gets hectic, I sometimes find myself hoping that the tasks would spread out more evenly, but on the other hand, you appreciate quiet moments more after having to sprint around doing things.

How would you describe the culture at Hannes Snellman?

I think the culture of Hannes Snellman could be described as engaging. I think it describes the attitude of the office and the working atmosphere.
