Hannes Snellman promotes two new partners

Swedish Real Estate & Construction specialist Safa Mahmoudi and Finnish Dispute Resolution specialist Kimmo Heikkinen become partners in Hannes Snellman on 1 January 2015

Safa Mahmoudi is based in Stockholm. He joined Hannes Snellman in 2011 and has in the course of only three years developed a successful operation in Stockholm, which forms an important part of Hannes Snellman’s proficient cross-border Real Estate & Construction practice. Across offices and business areas, Safa and his team have built up significant experience within real estate transactions, commercial tenancy law, property management, construction law and infrastructure, having advised on some of the most complex projects in the Nordic countries.

Kimmo Heikkinen is based in Helsinki and he specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration within Hannes Snellman’s highly regarded Dispute Resolution practice. He typically works on demanding, complex and high-value state litigation as well as domestic and international arbitration assignments. Kimmo’s specialist expertise covers disputes relating especially to construction and engineering as well as project supply, and he has particularly strong experience of sectors such as pulp & paper, energy, mining, infrastructure, process industry, retail and housing. Kimmo joined Hannes Snellman in 2005.
