Hannes Snellman Recruiting within IP & TMT

29 January 2018

Hannes Snellman reinforces its services within IP and life sciences with the recruitment of Christopher Tehrani, Managing Associate and specialist in the fields of dispute resolution and intellectual property law.

Before joining Hannes Snellman, Christopher Tehrani worked at Sandart & Partners, where he worked with processes and IP, with a focus on life sciences. His recruitment is part of Hannes Snellman’s advancement strategy within IP & TMT. During 2017, Partner Jesper Nevalainen  and Counsel Outi Jousi joined the IP & TMT team. The aim is to double the number of our associates and partners.

"We have noticed an increasing demand for IP & TMT counseling from our clients. Sweden is one of the most innovative countries in the world and has a strong position within the IT and telecom sector. Furthermore, the pharmaceutical sector is a significant part of Swedish business as well as an important part of society, which has resulted in an increasing number of requests for services regarding life sciences, IT/tech, data, and litigation. The recruitment of Christopher, who is member of a small group of skillful lawyers with extensive experience in patent litigation and other disputes within IP law, is an important contribution to our position in the Nordic market", says Elisabeth Vestin, Partner and Head of the IP & TMT team in Stockholm.

"Hannes Snellman is a well reputed law firm with a strong position in both Finland and Sweden. Intellectual property disputes, especially within patent litigation, has become even more complex and internationalised during the past few years. Hence, it is really exciting for Hannes Snellman and its strong pan-Nordic organisation to be able to offer first-rate and cross-border counseling and litigation within the IP field", says Christopher Tehrani.

Christopher joined Hannes Snellman on January 15, 2018.
